BasicGrey is in the House!

We didn't think it was possible to love Basic Grey more than we already do. Well, we now have five great new lines to drool over - and you will too! Take a look at the picture and get your order in fast. Looking clockwise from the upper left corner:

New rub-ons: The two pictured are my favorites. The look is all about flair, flourish, and fancy! Get them in black and white.

Oh, Baby! Boy and Girl: Did you expect the usual soft sweet pastels? This is Basic Grey, and they've taken it several notches above the usual. I don't need any baby boy or girl pages, but I have to have these for the playful stripes and prints and the softly vibrant tones.

Color Me Silly: How could you resist a paper line with names like "Giggle" and "Doodle"? This is a charged up, color rich pack for any event. Remember the cute frogs in the Skate Shoppe line? They're here in a red tone this time - too fun!

Hang 10: A tiki, woodcut, tropical kind of look with a surfer mentality in deep tones. This ain't your typical tropical paper set! And what exactly is a Billabong? With names like that, Malibu, Pearl, and Dweeb, this has to be my favorite group of the collection.

Urban Couture: How can a paper line make me think of rich chocolate, Posh New York style, and romance all at once? Deeply evocative and genuinely beautiful, you'll love this set.

Technique Tuesday

It's another great arrival for the Scrappin' Sisters store - Technique Tuesday acrylic stamps.

The Party's Over

We broke the sad news to family, staff, and closest friends earlier this evening, and now we must announce the store will close at the end of business day on Sat, November 5. The last day for picking up fixtures is Sunday, November 6.

All events are cancelled following the Saturday Private Scrap on Oct 29 for the MISS foundation. This Friday night, Oct 28, will be our last Midnight Madness.

How did this happen? We've been fighting a losing battle since the opening of Recollections in our area. This was further complicated by the slow economy, the slowdown of scrapbooking industry-wide, and the recent closings of other scrapbook and craft stores in our area. We've tried many different things, but we no longer have a choice and cannot hold our lease.

We regret that this happening so abruptly. Thank you to everyone to has been a part of our store, and our family.
